Transport prices in the USA

One of the largest transport operators in New York is the MTA transit. It operates both subway and buses.

You can use the public transport by buying a MetroCard. It is valid for both metro and buses. The single ride fare is $2.50. You can also buy the Unlimited Ride Card, which gives you unlimited access to the system for 7 or 30 days. Cards are sold at vending machines.

Ferries to nearby sites, such as the Statue of Liberty, are also often used especially by tourists. The fare for the ferry that takes you from Manhattan to the Island of Liberty and also stops at Ellis Island is $8.00 for adults. If you are a group of more than 25 adults each will pay $7.00. Ferries to Staten Island are also available. The official website of MTA New York City Transit
