Transport prices in Russia
Generally, the price of a single ticket for the public transport in Russia ranges between $0.40 and $0.90. Usually, buying a monthly pass is a good deal as it saves you money on rides. However, if you plan on staying for a short a period of time then you will not make much of a use buying such type of a pass.In Moscow, for instance, a single ticket for the metro is at a price of $0.55. You can purchase one that is valid for several rides, which makes your transport through the city less expensive. There are available tickets for 5, 10 or 20 rides and prices are respectively around $2.50, $4.50 and $8.25. Trams, buses and trolleys are available, too. Ticket price is one and the same for all of those – around $0.45 (if you buy it from the driver it is about $0.55).
